Post New Mathews Z7 Bow?

Thinking about buying a new Mathews Z7 bow, anyone have any experience shotting one?

Also looking at G5 Multi pin sight? Any feed back is welcomed?

Also looking for suggestions on a drop away rest?

Thanks,

Mike

I like the looks of the new Matthews Bows. I purchased the Mathews Monster this past year and man is it fast.. Then to my surprise I see they have a new one this year. Kinda like the longer brace height on the new one but for the short brace height the 09 Monster is extremely accurate and forgiving. I have looked at the G5 sites as well. I like how the pins are super small but bright but have heard from the local retailers that they arent worth the steep pricetag that come with them. But sometimes price isn’t the goal we have in mind. I’d much rather have smaller diameter pins on my bow so i’m still contemplating getting it.

I bought the new Mathews Z7 Bow on 12/28/09, it was expensive, but worth it. Whole package below: just under(00). Performance is unmatched, their is absolutely no hand shock during the shot, day 1 I was splitting fletchings at 20-yards with 3-arrow groups.

Mathews Z7 Bow: 60lb/28-inch draw
G5 Optix Sight and 5/16 Peep & Kisser
Mathews 5-arrow Quiver
1-Dozen Carbon Express Mathews Edition arrows
Ripcord Drop away rest
Plano Hard Case Airline approved
Scott Release

I took my time to make this purchase decision, shot the Switchback, DXT, Reezen, and several Hoyt top end bows to shop/compare. What sold me on the Z7 was no handshock, smoothest drawing, and the quietest, for hunting purposes.

I can’t wait for the spring 3-D archery league to start in April.

Hell of a setup there.. I was looking at the R7 for a target bow but it looks like I have to put that on hold for a little while due to the fact I know have to plan a wedding.. But on the bright side the fiance is very interested in getting a bow.. Told her get your hunters safety and its a done deal…
Nice Setup…

JEALOUS…
