Post Coming down to the Wire

Well theres only a few days left in the season, and luckily I just got the word that our boat is laying up till Jan 5 so I’ll be able to get a few more days this year in the woods. Anyone else heading out and bearing the cold these last few days.. If so let us know.

Time for another Rage in the Cage..

I went out tonight… had a BIG buck that got spooked and ran straight at my treestand! He stopped in the brush about 40 yards from mew and disappeared into the thicket :-( No shot opportunity.’

I will try to get out again one or two more afternoons…

Now that I’m back in town I went to check my trail cam thats been sitting on a run for 3 weeks, and I have a monster 9 pointer thats bigger than the 8 I shot on it.. Only bad part is every pick is at 3am… looks like ill have to wait until next years rut or hope he gets real dumb in the next few days…
